The Rap Up is the passion project of Julian Rubalcaba. The goal was to make a website where both hip-hop and sports would be treated with equal amounts of care and passion. The best things about sports and hip-hop is the way they can bring people together and inspire debate. This is what The Rap Up hopes to stimulate, discussion about the things a lot of us care about most.
Julian lives and operates The Rap Up from his home in Arizona. The idea brewed for over a year before being actually realized with the help and support of close family members and friends. We are always looking for new writers to help The Rap Up grow in what it covers and who it reaches.
